O čem je program

The follow-up Master's degree program Nanomaterial Chemistry focuses on the graduate profiling towards practice as a university-educated expert able to handle the requirements of not only industrial but also research chemistry, specializing in the field of material and nanomaterial chemistry. For this reason, in addition to theoretical subjects of basic disciplines such as nanomaterials, heterogeneous systems or mechanical properties of materials, other subjects taught in the form of practical exercises are included in the study program, which will enable graduates to successfully apply in practice. These subjects related to the application of theoretical knowledge of chemistry in practice include spectroscopic methods and Advanced microscopic methods, advanced laboratory practice, Practice in Methods of Material Research or polymers.

Graduate is qualified in the field of physical and material chemistry and is therefore fully prepared for independent work in these fields, both in research and industrial practice and in testing, but is also prepared for further upgrading of in the field of physical and material chemistry. The graduates of this program can apply the acquired knowledge to the maximum extent in a wide field of professions, where professional education at a university level oriented to the physico-chemical fundamentals of analytical and synthetic chemical processes in the field of material technologies is required. Graduates will find employment in all fields applying physicochemical methods in research and production of materials in the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industry, in control and industrial laboratories and in testing, but also in health and agriculture. Teaching of selected subjects in English also strengthens the employment opportunities of graduates.
